SUGANDOI SONG WRITING COMPETITION 2007

Just around two months, we will celebrate KAAMATAN. As we know there will be a lot of activity during this festival seassion such as Sogandoi Kaamataan, Unduk Ngadau and many more. This year, there will be a SUGANDOI SONG WRITING COMPETITION 2007. If you are intersted, it might can be your first step to be a song writer. :)
1.Open to all Malaysians above 18 years old
2.Must be original compositions
3.Must be in Kadazandusun language
4.Only top 10 songs will be selected for the Final (at Nunuk Ragang Festival, Ranau in July 2007)
5.Final top 10 songs' copyrights given to KDCA

Sugandoi Committee will produce VCD & CD albums to be sold to raise fund for its activities and to pay royalties to composers/lyricists.

Proposed prizes:
Champion: RM2000 + Trophy + Certificate

R/Up: RM1500 + Trophy + Certificate

2nd R/Up: RM1000 + Trophy + Certificate

10 Consolations: @RM300 + Certificate

Best Performer: RM300 + Trophy

Total Prizes: RM7,800.00

Entrance fee: RM20 per song submitted
