Another history created on 15 April 2010, Streamyx was down almost 35 minutes causing 1.6 million Streamys customer no internet services. As we know streamyx is the largest internet provider in Malaysia and most of the big organizations and company are streamyx users.
Service disruption might give big impact to streamys users when TM data canter was down online business and e-services no internet connections.
TM respon via twitter confirm the problem causing by the major routing (DNS) breakdown to domestic and international since 5.30 pm and restore back on 6.10 pm.
Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to inform its Internet services customers nationwide that there has been a service disruption at 5.30 p.m. today. Due to this, customers nationwide were experiencing problems browsing the Internet.
However, we wish to inform our customers that the restoration works are already in progress and services in some areas have been restored in stages. TM is currently monitoring the situation and will make further announcements on the progress of the restoration works.
TM apologizes for any inconveniences caused by this disruption, whilst at the same time, we would like to assure customers that we are undertaking all necessary measures to restore communications services for its customers as soon as possible.
