Internet protocol (IP) is the identity of computer in the internet world. There are lots of advantages if you know how to manipulate an IP address. Every email we receive contains important information called header information. This header information will determine the destination and from whom this email came from.
Step by step to find the IP address of the email sender in Gmail.
1. Login in to your Gmail.
2. Select mail that you want to know who is the sender/ip
3. Click on the inverted triangle placed just next to Reply. Click on Show Original.
4. You now need to look for Received:from followed by the IP within square brackets [ ] as shown in picture below. (for this example Received: from c300b-6.friendster.com (c300b-6.friendster.com [209.11.169.80]))
5. Done
Im sure you know how valuable this IP address. :P
